**Definition of Mean, Median, Mode: **

**Mean: **The
mean is the average of a set of numbers. To calculate the mean, just
add up all the numbers in the set, then divide by how many numbers
there are. Example: The mean of 5, 7, and 9 is 7. (5 + 7 + 9 = 21 /
3 = 7)

**Median:**
The median is the number in the middle of a sorted list of numbers.
To find the median, rearrange the numbers you are given in order by
value, then find the middle number. Example: 14, 7, 23. From lowest
to highest, the numbers rearranged become 7, 14, 23. Which one is in
the middle? (Answer: 14) So 14 is the median.

**Mode:**
The mode is the number that appears most often in a set of numbers.
Example: 3, 4, 3, 3, 9, 267, 48, 3, 9, 7, 3. Which number is the
mode? (Answer: 3)
