Definition of an Exponent: The
exponent of a number shows you how many times the number is to be
multiplied by itself. For example, 33
means 3 * 3 * 3 or 27.
Exponents make it easy to write big numbers in a short way.
Lesson Idea for Teachers:
During this activity, students will review the laws of exponents.
